House Minority Leader John Boehner, R-West Chester, donated $5,000 from his political action committee to Republican Sen. Norm Coleman's election challenge in Minnesota.

Boehner has contributed the maximum amount to boost Coleman's legal challenge to a 225-vote margin held by Democrat Al Franken. If Franken is certified the winner, Democrats will have a 59-41 voting edge in the U.S. Senate.

Compiled by Aoife Connors, Jonathan Riskind and Jack Torry of The Dispatch Washington Bureau.
